Muhammad Yusuf Al-Muqadma liberated after 22 years in Israeli prisons
After 22 years in Israeli prisons on charges of participating in resistance, Palestinian prisoner Muhammad Yusuf Al-Muqadma has been liberated.
The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs has announced the liberation of Muhammad Yusuf Al-Muqadma after spending 22 years in Israeli prisons.
Muhammad Al-Muqadma, a resident of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, was arrested by the occupation forces on September 12, 2001, while working in the city of Qalqilya.
The Israeli court had sentenced him to 21 years in prison, along with an additional 10 months. At the time of his arrest, Al-Muqadma was only 22 years old and was charged with participating in resistance operations against Zionist settlers and the occupation forces.
Born on November 4, 1979, Al-Muqadma, who remains unmarried, spent his incarceration years in the "Nafha" Desert Prison.

Previously, the Muhjat Al-Quds Foundation for the Freed Prisoner had published a collection of books and novels authored by Al-Muqadma during his time in captivity, including "The Correct Understanding of Islam," "Beyond the Image," and "The Last Narrator". He is also a member of the Palestinian Writers' Union, with his membership registered at the Union's headquarters in Occupied al-Quds.
It's worth noting that approximately 5,000 Palestinian prisoners are currently held in Israeli jails, including 31 women in "Damon" Prison, as well as 160 children distributed in "Ofer", "Majdo", and "Damon" prisons.
