National Arab Convention concludes 33rd session, focused on Palestine
The 33rd National Arab Convention, held in Beirut, highlighted the strategic importance of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, praised supportive stances from various countries, and addressed the crisis in Sudan, calling for solidarity with Palestine and resistance against normalization with 'Israel'.
The National Arab Convention concluded its 33rd session, on Sunday, under the title "Al-Aqsa Flood Convention," after three days of intensive discussions.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the convention summarized, in its final statement, the strategic dimensions and implications of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
It also highlighted the prominent role of support fronts in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iraq, appreciating the roles of Syria and Iran.
Additionally, the convention praised Algeria and South Africa's advanced stance towards occupied Palestine and commended the countries that cut ties with "Israel" and recognized Palestine.
According to our correspondent, the crisis in Sudan was also addressed at the convention. Participants described what Sudan is experiencing as the "second Arab catastrophe," warning of the American-Israeli project targeting it.
The Arab National Convention commenced its 33rd session on Friday in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, with the presence of political and media figures and officials from various members of the Axis of Resistance.

During the opening of the convention, its general coordinator, Ma'an Bashour, affirmed that "the compass of this convention, like that of every free Arab, is Palestine," explaining that it "brings together members of all the nation's currents to form a forum for dialogue and convergence among them."
Leaders of the Axis of Resistance, during their participation in the Arab National Convention, asserted that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood re-elevated the Palestinian cause to an unprecedented level, calling on countries to halt normalization and boycott the Israeli occupation and its supporters.
It is noteworthy that the Lebanese capital, Beirut, hosted the National Arab Convention from May 31 till June 2.
The significance of this session lies in it being the first after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, amid the repercussions of the aggression on the Gaza Strip and developments in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and the region, as well as the global solidarity with the Palestinian people.
