The Israeli occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has bowed to pressure and canceled a meeting to discuss the future of the Gaza Strip after the end of the aggression.

Recently emerging reports underscored that due to pressure from coalition partners, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled a "day after war" meeting for the Israeli war cabinet regarding the Gaza Strip despite having called for it initially.

Channel 12 reported that the meeting was canceled at the last minute after Netanyahu made the decision not to discuss the potential Israeli plans for Gaza with the cabinet.

According to the report, two sources said that Netanyahu's coalition partners believed that the government exerted "significant pressure" to cancel the meeting.

Prior to that report, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the meeting was intended to take place despite opposition from Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir who cited "the council's lack of jurisdiction," as a reason for refusal.

It is worth noting that Smotrich and Ben-Gvir are not members of the occupation's war cabinet, and have threatened on several occasions to withdraw from Netanyahu's coalition government if the war on Gaza is brought to a halt before "Israel" achieves its goals to "destroy Hamas" and liberate the captives.

Netanyahu recently responded to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for comparing "Israel's" actions in Gaza to those of Nazi Germany.

Erdogan had asserted on Wednesday that there is "no distinction" between the ongoing actions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the attacks on Gaza and the deeds of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Speaking at a science awards ceremony in Ankara, Erdogan questioned the dissimilarities between Netanyahu and Hitler, emphasizing that any differentiation between the two remains elusive.

"How do you (Netanyahu) differ from Hitler? These (actions) will make us look for Hitler as well. Is there anything Netanyahu does that is less than Hitler? No."

In a statement, Netanyahu deflected the blame from the onslaught in Gaza on Erdogan's "genocide of Kurds," adding that Erdogan is responsible for a number of imprisoned journalists who oppose him.

Netanyahu added that the Turkish President should not be preaching "morality" to the Israelis, since the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) are the most "moral army in the world."

Benny Gantz called Erdogan's remarks "blatant distortions of reality and a desecration of the Holocaust's memory."
