Netanyahu undergoes heart procedure as protests intensify
As the Israeli occupation suffers from a multi-level crisis, Netanyahu was reportedly admitted to "Sheba Medical Center" near "Tel Aviv" and had a pacemaker implanted.
As 'Israel’s' internal turmoil dominates the news, the occupation's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, aged 73, underwent surgery to have a heart pacemaker implanted at the "Sheba Center of Tel Hashomer Hospital".
"He will remain under medical supervision in the cardiology department," the hospital said in a statement.
Netanyahu had been fitted with a monitoring device a week ago, which signaled the need for a pacemaker to be implanted immediately.
During Netanyahu's surgery and recovery, "Justice" Minister Yariv Levin will serve as acting prime minister, a decision made by ministers over the phone. As a result of the surgery, the Knesset's debate on the coalition's controversial judicial reform bill, scheduled for the following day, will proceed without Netanyahu's presence.
The weekly cabinet meeting and a security meeting with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi will also be postponed.
'Israel' spirals into rampant chaos
This is happening as upheaval and chaos took the Israeli occupation entity by storm. Violent clashes erupted between the opposition and police, as Israeli settlers protest against the government’s judicial reforms. Appeals for civil disobedience and riots have been met with stern warnings from both sides, as political rifts are widening and warning against the outbreak of a “civil war”.
Concurrently, Channel 12 reported, on Saturday, that the IOF is faced with a severe challenge in trying to contain the rising numbers of volunteers who are refraining from service.
The situation has prompted security sources to urge the government to convene a cabinet meeting to discuss the consequences of the service evading volunteers on Israeli security.
Some have gone so far as to describe the matter as a gamble with Israeli stability. Amid these developments, there are growing demands to hold a committee meeting on foreign affairs and security to assess the implications of the ongoing situation.
Israeli media reported on Friday that the Israeli occupation Air Force is in shock, as 1,142 reservists, including 513 pilots, announced their intention to suspend their volunteering if the judicial overhaul was approved.
