Nuland refused to cooperate with Russia envoy on US biolabs in Ukraine
One of the top US diplomats that waged a misinformation war regarding US Biolabs in Ukraine is blatantly dismissing invitations for collaboration with Russia on the matter.
US Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland refused to cooperate with the Russian parliamentary commission on the operations of US biological laboratories in Ukraine, Deputy Speaker of Russia's Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev told Sputnik.
Russia sent an official invitation to Nuland through diplomatic channels on May 25, but the US diplomat did not respond to it.
"We turned to Ms. Nuland. Her office categorically refused to interact with the commission, with some propaganda clichés such as, you'd better take care of yourself and look at yourself - completely unconvincing," Kosachev said.
"And we have not received, of course, any substantive answers to the questions that we have formulated [to the US side on the activities of facilities]," he added.
Russia's Ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, said during a UN Security Council meeting in May that Moscow would activate Articles 5 and 6 of the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) to investigate Biolabs in Ukraine.
That came after Moscow discovered new information proving the Pentagon's involvement in developing components for biological weapons in Ukraine.
"Experts from the Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops discovered while examining the documents that there was new information proving the US Defense Department's direct involvement in developing components for biological weapons in Ukraine," Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said.
Data on biological laboratories found in Ukraine does not help the case of the US against claims regarding its compliance with the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC), Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova had said.
Additionally, Moscow found that President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, helped finance military research into dangerous pathogens at Biolabs in Ukraine is true, according to new emails from his infamous laptop.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland had said Ukraine had "biological research facilities," and the United States is concerned that they could come under the control of the Russian forces.
Her assertions came after the US denied any accountability for such facilities, accusing Moscow of making up stories regarding biological laboratories.
Moscow also exhibited documents confirming the organization of military-biological work by the Pentagon represented by the US Department of Defense Threat Reduction Department.
Rospotrebnadzor chief Anna Popova said there were more than 300 US-funded civilian and military biological laboratories in the world, with regions that have high concentrations of American labs both military and civilian, and their numbers are increasing by the day.
The funders, according to documents provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense, are Hunter Biden and his investment fund, Rosemont Seneca, and George Soros and his notorious Open Society Foundation.
