Number of Palestinians detained in West Bank since Oct. 7 hits 6,540
During Israeli occupation forces' incursions, soldiers raid Palestinians' homes, resulting in arrests and engaging in vandalism, causing severe damage to properties.
Israeli occupation forces have launched a detention campaign in the West Bank, detaining at least 22 Palestinians, as reported by security sources and the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS).
In Ramallah city, at least ten Palestinians were detained in various areas, with their homes raided and belongings ransacked. In the southern part of the West Bank, the IOF detained four Palestinians from al-Khalil, including a released Palestinian detainee and his son.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), a minimum of ten Palestinians were detained in various locations within Ramallah city after their homes were raided, resulting in damage to their belongings.
Additionally, the IOF conducted a military incursion into Shuafat Refugee Camp, situated north of al-Quds, leading to the detention of two Palestinians, in addition to the detention of a released Palestinian detainee from Tubas.
Shifting to the northern part of the occupied West Bank, the IOF detained five Palestinians from different locations in the city of Tulkarm.
In an undercover operation, Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian from inside his vehicle in the town of Jaba', south of Jenin.
The IOF also conducted house raids and questioned Palestinians in the town of Beit Furik, situated east of Nablus.
It is worth noting that the number of Palestinians detained by the IOF in the West Bank since the commencement of the Israeli aggression on October 7 has surged to approximately 6,540.
Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces persist in perpetrating the act of enforced disappearance against detainees from Gaza, refusing to furnish human rights organizations with any details regarding their whereabouts or detention sites.
