Israeli media says the IOF is working to create a barrier that makes it more difficult for Palestinians to come near the occupation soldiers, following Saturday's events.

The Israeli Walla website reported on bulldozer activity near the Gaza separation barrier that the Israeli occupation forces started. It was reported that the aim was to further obstruct the Palestinians from nearing occupation soldiers.

Walla also reported that commands to open fire will be updated in cases where the means of dispersal of demonstrations would not be useful.

This comes after an Israeli soldier was seriously injured as the IOF decided to snipe Palestinian demonstrators from afar, not only near the border barrier.

Two days ago, the Israeli occupation forces used live bullets and tear gas canisters to disperse Palestinians participating in the Seif Al-Quds festival to attend the 52nd commemoration of the burning of the Al-Aqsa mosque. The series of events led to injuries among those gathered near the Gaza separation barrier and confrontations between the IOF and Palestinians.

Subsequently, the IOF reported that one of its soldiers was seriously wounded after being shot in the Gaza Strip, announcing that he was transferred to the hospital.

According to Walla, the Israeli occupation forces did not detect an armed man approaching the separation barrier.

On Saturday, the Israeli occupation warplanes launched several air raids on separate areas in the Gaza Strip, hours after the confrontations that erupted along the Gaza separation barrier.

Following the Israeli aggression, the Palestinian factions in Gaza stated from Aida Camp that they will not put operations to a halt until the Israeli occupation stops violations against occupied Jerusalem and Palestinians, and until the occupation lifts the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
