The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Friday that there have been 13 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 149 martyrs and 300 injuries over the past 24 hours.
On the 161st day of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, the Ministry announced that the aggression toll rose to 31,490 martyrs and 73,439 injuries.
It is noteworthy that the numbers only account for martyrs officially registered with the Ministry, and there may be a significant number of martyrs whose bodies have not yet been accounted for or reached hospitals.
In a statement released by the government media office in Gaza concerning those awaiting aid, it confirmed that within a span of 48 hours, the occupying forces committed five massacres resulting in numerous casualties, including dozens of martyrs and over 300 wounded Palestinians.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the occupation opened fire on every Palestinian trying to retrieve martyrs or wounded from the Kuwait Roundabout massacre, southeast of Gaza City.
On Thursday evening, an Israeli airstrike targeted a gathering of starved Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid packages at the Kuwait Roundabout in southern Gaza, Al Mayadeen's correspondent had reported.
The casualties were transported to four different hospitals: Al-Maamadani and Al-Shifa in Gaza City, and Al-Awda and Kamal Adwan hospitals in northern Gaza. The Ministry of Health in Gaza, meanwhile, said rescue missions to pull out martyrs and injured individuals from underneath the rubble are still ongoing despite the difficulties and dangers on the field.
The ministry then emphasized that the Kuwait roundabout massacre was further proof of the Israeli occupation's intentions to commit more horrendous crimes, and added that the number of martyrs is expected to increase as more casualties, in dire condition, arrived at the different hospitals in Gaza.
