One killed, injuries in stabbing attack in Haifa Bay: Israeli media

A stabbing operation in Haifa Bay killed one settler and injured four others.

Israeli media reported on Monday that a double stabbing and shooting operation occurred in Haifa, with conflicting details emerging about the nature of the attack. 

According to Israeli emergency services, the operation took place at a store in the heart of Haifa Bay, leaving five people injured.

A man was killed, according to medics, and the Magen David Adom emergency service reported that four others were injured.

Israeli media reported that one of the settlers was a member of the security forces who was mistakenly identified as the stabber. 

BREAKING:

A shooting and stabbing terrorist attack was just carried out in Haifa, Israel.

The report also mentioned that two individuals carried out the operation, one of whom was shot, while the search for the suspects remained ongoing.

Israeli media reported that police forces "secured the area of the attack and are handling the incident to address any further concerns."

In this context, Al Mayadeen's correspondent stated that there is "a state of confusion and conflicting information in the Israeli media."
