The Mayor of Turmus Aya confirmed that between 50 to 60 cars and 20 to 30 homes were set ablaze by intruding settlers who viciously attacked the town.
In the same context, medical sources have reported that emergency teams treated over 100 cases of suffocation in Turmus Aya. These cases were a result of the firing of gas bombs and the smoke that emerged from the properties that were set on fire in the village.

In light of these events, Hamas affirmed that "the terrorist attacks by armed settler gangs against the village of Turmus Aya constitute a dangerous escalation and a heinous crime carried out with the incitement and support of the fascist occupation government."
Hamas emphasized that continued terrorism and aggression, supported by Netanyahu's government, will only be met with acts of resistance against occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank.
The resistance movement added that "our heroic people will not be intimidated by any of the criminal practices of the enemy, which reflect their loss of composure in the face of the strikes carried out by our heroic resistance fighters, including the heroic operation carried out," carried out in the settlement of "Eli", which is located to the south of Nablus.
The settlers' attack comes after four Israeli illegal settlers were shot dead in an operation executed by two affiliates of Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Muhannad Faleh Abdullah Shehadeh, and Khaled Mostafa Abel-Latif Sabah.
