BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

One youth, Abdulrahman Khaled Nawwas succumbed to his wounds after an Israeli airstrike that targetted the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm two months ago, as the Palestinian Red Crescents reported that tens of families are still stuck inside the Jabal al-Nasr area in the Nur Shams camp.

The Red Crescent added that it's facing difficulties in reaching the families stuck inside the camp due to the dangerous situation in the area, and the siege the Israeli occupation forces are imposing.

Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, said on X that "the West Bank is experiencing serious repercussions due to the war in Gaza," noting that "more than 50 people, including children, have been reported martyred since the start of the Israeli forces' operation five weeks ago."

The West Bank is undergoing an alarming spill over of the #Gaza war.

Destruction of public infrastructure, bulldozing roads and access restrictions are…

— Philippe Lazzarini (@UNLazzarini) February 26, 2025

Lazzarini warned that the destruction of infrastructure, the demolition of streets, and tightened restrictions on access are commonplace, emphasizing that over 40,000 people have been forced to leave their homes.

One Palestinian youth died due to critical injuries inflicted by the Israeli forces' gunfire on Tuesday in Nablus after he was critically wounded with five bullets to the chest, while seven other Palestinians were injured by direct fire, three others were injured by bullet fragments, and one was hurt in a fall.

Dozens of Palestinians on the other hand suffered from suffocation after inhaling toxic and tear gas from canisters launched by the Israeli army in the vicinity of the western cemetery on al-Jamaa street.

Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers stormed Nablus three times, deploying around the city's western cemetery, where local sources reported that occupation troops violated the sanctity of the graves by demolishing them.

'Israel' intensified West Bank campaign

This comes after the Israeli forces escalated their military offensive in the West Bank on Saturday, intensifying raids and home demolitions in Tulkarm and its surrounding refugee camps, on the 27th day of the assault.

The invading Israeli units imposed movement restrictions on the main road linking Tulkarm and the Nur Shams refugee camp, setting up roadblocks and searching civilians and their vehicles while interrogating them.

"Israel" decided to extend its occupation of the West Bank following the explosion of three busses in Tel Aviv on February 20th, deploying tanks for the first in 20 years as Israeli Security Minister Katz announced an expansion of the aggression on the refugee camps of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams.
