Palestinian sources reported that the martyr, identified as Saeed al-Jaber, is a Resistance fighter from the al-Quds Brigades in Tulkarm, stressing that al-Jaber had survived several assassination attempts by the Israeli occupation.
It is worth noting that drone strikes, along with airstrikes in general, were once rare in the occupied West Bank. However, since the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza began on October 7, their frequency has increased sharply, coinciding with almost continuous Israeli raids in occupied towns.
Furthermore, our correspondent reported that special Israeli forces stormed the al-Far'a refugee camp, situated south of the Tubas Governorate, in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.
On its part, the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades - Tubas stated that its fighters confronted an Israeli special force that infiltrated the al-Far'a camp in the northern West Bank, using gunfire and explosive devices.
IOF attacks Nablus homes, Resistance confronts West Bank raid
Israeli occupation forces stormed multiple areas across the West Bank overnight Sunday, assaulting Palestinians while entering towns. The incursions were faced with heavy resistance and confrontations erupted in several cities.
Israeli occupation forces deployed military vehicles to conduct operations in neighborhoods and streets across Nablus, where tear gas canisters were fired into Palestinian homes, resulting in fires in nearby agricultural areas, though no injuries were reported, according to eyewitnesses.
Additionally, the occupation forces carried out raids in western Nablus and the town of Qusra, southeast of the city. During their incursion into the village of Surra, west of Nablus, Palestinians reportedly retaliated by throwing Molotov cocktails at the invading Israeli forces, as reported by Palestinian media.
In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces conducted raids in the town of Jit, east of the city, and the village of Deir Abu Mash'al, northwest of Ramallah.
Furthermore, the occupation forces raided the village of Qalqas, south of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank, where gunfire was reported near an Israeli occupation grouping at the village entrance.
The occupation forces then closed off the village entrance and all routes leading to al-Khalil, establishing checkpoints at multiple locations and intensifying vehicle searches targeting Palestinians.
Meanwhile, amid the ongoing genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Resistance fighters in the occupied West Bank are actively confronting the daily raids conducted by Israeli occupation forces with gunfire and explosives.
