More than 20 people were killed and six others injured, most of them children, as a result of an Israeli airstrike on the town of Almat in the Jbeil district, north of Beirut, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday.

Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that rescue teams are still searching for missing victims under the rubble of a house destroyed by the Israeli occupation forces in the town.

In the Bekaa Valley, our correspondent noted that an Israeli airstrike targeted the Sarin Plain and another hit the city of Baalbek.

According to the Health Ministry, the death toll from an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town of Mashghara in Western Bekaa on Saturday night rose to three, with two others wounded.

The Ministry also indicated that the final toll from the Israeli airstrike on Sohmor in Western Bekaa on Saturday reached one martyr and four wounded.

In the south, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted a northern neighborhood in Jdeidet Marjayoun and detonated several areas near the al-Wazzani River, south of the village of al-Ghajar.

Additionally, an Israeli drone strike targeted an area between the towns of Kfar Tibnit and Arnoun, accompanied by artillery shelling on the towns of Beit Lif and the outskirts of Ain Ebel.

In the Saida district, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that three paramedics from the Islamic Health Organization’s Civil Defense were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Adloun on Sunday.

15 martyrs in an Israeli massacre in Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain

Earlier on Sunday, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the outskirts of the towns of al-Hanniyeh, al-Qlaileh, Seddiqine, and al-Khiam in southern Lebanon.

Our correspondent added that 15 people were killed, and others were wounded as a result of a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain in the Tyre district on Saturday evening.

An Israeli airstrike also targeted the town of Western Zawtar in the Nabatieh district early on Sunday, our correspondent noted.
