Overnight airstrikes in Gaza reported as the most intense yet
"Israel" conducted the most intense barrage of Gaza overnight with the aim of severing transportation routes, as per Al Mayadeen sources.
Palestinian sources have informed Al Mayadeen that "Israel" conducted the most intense bombardment of Gaza overnight to sever transportation routes.
During the densely populated and confined streets of Gaza, the situation deteriorated as the number of martyrs from Israeli airstrikes continued to surge.
The Palestinian sources confirmed that the bombs used in tonight's barrage had high destructive power and had not been previously employed by the IOF.
They indicated that no Israeli ground movements have been observed, and the field situation in the eastern and northern border areas remains unchanged, adding that the enemy is conducting extensive psychological warfare campaigns to influence the morale of citizens and fighters.
The sources emphasized that the Resistance remains at the highest level of readiness, monitoring and tracking the enemy's movements, even within the occupied territories.
Meanwhile, the Rafah border crossing, connecting Gaza to Egypt, is reportedly scheduled to open at 9 am today, as reported by NBC News.
Kamel Khatib, a representative from the Palestinian embassy, confirmed the opening, which will enable foreign citizens to depart Gaza and permit the entry of humanitarian supplies, as per Israeli media.

This comes after Israeli media reported that a ceasefire in #Gaza would come into effect, starting at 9:00 a.m., and would last for five hours.#Palestine #GazaUnderAttack https://t.co/QxZ8IZqzDY
It is worth noting that Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Cairo reported that approximately 100 trucks carrying 1,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid are waiting to enter from Egypt into the Gaza Strip.
Our correspondent explained that the Rafah crossing is no longer suitable for delivering aid to the Strip, and there are talks of using the Karm Abu Salem crossing as an alternative.

Earlier, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli occupation airstrikes have violently targeted various areas in Gaza with unprecedented intensity, in both the northern and southern parts of the Strip.
The Israeli occupation targeted the main roads in the Strip and launched intensive smoke bombs in the northern part of it. Shelling that targeted the central governorate in the Strip resulted in two martyrs and several injuries.
Our correspondent reported airstrikes on the Nuseirat camp and heavily populated areas in Khan Yunis. A house in the city sheltering displaced people from the north of the Strip was targeted, resulting in the death and injury of all inside.
The continuous and violent Israeli airstrikes on Khan Yunis coincided with artillery shelling. The shelling on the al-Amal neighborhood resulted in the martyrdom of one person and several injuries, while search operations are underway for those missing under the rubble.
