Pakistani Foreign Minister Tours Asia
The Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi visits Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran to discuss developments in Afghanistan.
According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will visit four nations today Tuesday, to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss the situation in Afghanistan.
The official tour will last from August 24 to 26 and includes Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Iran.
According to a statement from Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, the minister will conduct important talks throughout these travels to exchange views on the situation in Afghanistan and to develop bilateral relations with each of these nations.
Earlier, Pakistan's Foreign Minister announced that he stands at the same distance from all the warring parties in Afghanistan, rejecting the continued foreign presence in Afghanistan, and supporting the American withdrawal on time.
