Pakistan's Interior Minister vows to arrest Imran Khan: Reports
In a statement, Pakistan’s Interior minister Rana Sanaullah described Imran Khan as an agent of “sedition”, adding: "Imran Khan will definitely be arrested."
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah vowed to put in custody dismissed Prime Minister Imran Khan, accusing him of inciting violence against the delegation of the current Prime Minister, Shahbaz Sharif, during the latter's visit to Masjid-e-Nabawi in Madina, Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, Sanaullah described Imran Khan as an agent of “sedition”, adding: "Imran Khan will definitely be arrested."
Along with his former cabinet colleagues, Imran Khan was among 150 people booked by the Punjab police in connection with the sloganeering against Sharif and his delegation.
A delegation led by Sharif was met with "chor" (thief) and "gaddar" (traitor) slogans as it entered Madina's Masjid-e-Nabawi on Thursday and Friday.
A Twitter user shared a video of the delegation arriving at a facility, accompanied by heavy security. People at the facility, on the other hand, could be heard shouting "chor".

On Friday, Saudi authorities reportedly arrested some Pakistani pilgrims who were chanting anti-delegation slogans.
It is worth mentioning that Shehbaz Sharif was elected as Pakistan's new Prime Minister earlier this month, following the ouster of Imran Khan, who resigned his national assembly seat – along with the majority of his party members – ahead of the vote.
Khan accused the opposition of buying support in the assembly with "open horse-trading... selling of lawmakers like goats and sheep", further accusing them of conspiring with Washington because of his opposition to US foreign policy.
Sharif, the leader of the centrist Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), was the only candidate after Khan loyalist and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi withdrew his candidacy and resigned his seat.
