The various Palestinian Resistance factions condemned the recent Israeli attack in Lebanon, which caused pager devices to detonate, leaving thousands of injuries and several fatalities, including a 10-year-old Lebanese girl.

Hamas

The Hamas Resistance movement issued a statement strongly condemning the terroristic Israeli aggression, which targeted Lebanese citizens, civilians, and Resistance fighters alike, by detonating their portable communication devices across several regions and cities in Lebanon.

The occupation government was held fully accountable for the "dangerous" crime, which breached all laws and charters, according to the Resistance.

Hamas further stressed that the terror crime came as part of the Israeli aggression and arrogance in the region, armed by US support, which grants the Israeli "fascist crimes" impunity. It affirmed that the Israeli escalation would only lead the occupation to more failure, defeat, and humiliation.

Hamas stated that it valued the sacrifices of its brothers in Hezbollah, as well as their commitment to continue supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, and extended its solidarity with the people of Lebanon and Hezbollah.

The Palestinian Resistance movement also extended its condolences to the martyrs' families and wished those injured fast recoveries, emphasizing that the "fascist Israeli crimes only solidify the people's will and will not break the Resistance's determination."

Al-Mujahideen

The al-Mujahideen movement denounced the "dirty and immoral crime that targeted telecommunication devices in Lebanon, leading to the martyrdom of many and the injury of thousands of our Lebanese brothers, perpetrated by the cowardly Zionist enemy."

The attack, according to al-Mujahideen, came as part of the genocidal war against the [Palestinian] nation, led by Netanyahu's government and backed by the criminal US administration. The movement strongly held the American administration responsible for the heinous crime, alongside all other Zionist crimes.

"The enemy will not prevail in its pursuit to break the will of our nations' Resistance, or bend Hezbollah's fighters' will to continue supporting the Gaza Strip, which is witnessing the most brutal genocide, by committing treacherous and cowardly crimes," the statement read.

The movement further urged that the Israeli occupation "pay the price for its horrific crimes against our people and nations," affirming that it must acknowledge that it is in an open battle against all vital forces in the region.

The al-Mujahideen Resistance movement called for unity and mobilization against the Israeli occupation and its American sponsor.

On its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement confirmed that the "treacherous operation carried out by the Zionist entity's apparatus was purely a war crime that deliberated inflicting tremendous damage among civilians in their homes."

The PIJ's statement considered that the Israeli occupation resorted to this option because of the defeat and the lack of choices it possessed in light of the blows it was dealt from the different support fronts backing the Palestinian Resistance.

The Resistance movement declared its full trust and confidence in the Lebanese Resistance, saying it was "capable of withstanding this treacherous strike and containing its consequences quickly", and that it would respond proportionally to the size of the crime and targeting civilians, especially the families of the Resistance fighters.

Al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades

The al-Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades condemned the "barbaric crime against the brotherly Lebanese people," affirming that it came as a result of the humiliating Zionist military failure to stop the Lebanese support front during the ongoing Al-Aqsa Flood Battle.

The Brigades noted that the aggression was a desperate attempt to stop the raging Lebanese support front, spearheaded by the Islamic Resistance, Hezbollah.

The statement stressed confidence in "the ability of our brothers in the Islamic Resistance to ensure revenge and respond to the heinous crime, as well as to continue supporting the Palestinian people and their Resistance, no matter the sacrifices."

Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine

Similarly, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the criminal act against Lebanon and Lebanese citizens, declaring it a massacre and a new war crime that requires international condemnation and accountability.

The Front saw the crime as "clear evidence of the fascism of the occupying entity," stressing that it would not have dared to commit it had it not been for the international silence and the blatant American and NATO support for its policy and ongoing massacres in Palestine, Lebanon, and the region, as well as its efforts to ignite a regional war after failing to achieve its goals in Gaza.

The Democratic Front affirmed that this aggression would only increase the Lebanese Resistance's steadfastness and determination to continue supporting the Palestinian people in all ways possible, further stressing its confidence in Hezbollah's ability to deal with the aggression, which indicates the failure and defeat of the occupation in striking the Resistance that remains undeterred by the Israeli massacres.

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine coined "the treacherous attacks", perpetrated by the Israeli intelligence services, as "a dangerous Zionist escalation, committed in the context of a new attempt to disrupt Lebanon's security and destabilize the country."

The PFLP, in a statement, assured that "this broad Zionist escalation was launched in confirmed coordination with the United States and Western powers, aimed to strike deep Lebanese territory, and attempted to weaken the Resistance, which has repeatedly proven its ability to confront these dangerous incidents."

The movement extended its full support and solidarity with Lebanon and its Resistance, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

It stressed its certainty of the "resistance's ability to endure this treacherous attack and respond strongly, reflecting its cohesion and strength," asserting that these operations "will not deter the Resistance in Lebanon from continuing its support for the Resistance in Gaza in its ongoing battle against the occupation."

Concluding its statement, the PFLP emphasized that the repeated Israeli threats to launch a large-scale offensive against Lebanon will only be met with more steadfastness and resistance, noting that the Lebanese people and their Resistance forces have proven that they are capable of thwarting any hostile plot and responding to escalation with greater escalation.

Palestinian officials

The Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative, Mustafa Barghouti, declared the criminal attack a terrorist act that harmed innocent civilians and represented Netanyahu and his fascist government’s conspiracy to ignite a wide-scale war on Lebanon, drag the region into a regional war, and prevent the establishment of an agreement to stop the genocide the Gaza Strip.

Barghouti stressed that Netanyahu would not have dared to commit all these crimes without absolute US support and Western silence and emphasized that he would fail in the face of the resilience of the peoples of the region, especially the Lebanese and Palestinian people, adding that his plots will be shattered just as the conspiracies of the aggressors who preceded him were shattered.

In a related context, the Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ashraf Dabour, said that under the directives of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, all Palestinian hospitals in Lebanon were opened, and all medical teams, whether affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent or those present in the camps, were mobilized to receive the wounded and provide support and assistance to them.
