Palestinian Captive Movement announces general mobilization
The Palestinian Captive Movement calls for a general mobilization in all Israeli prisons in protest of the violations committed by the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinian Captive Movement announced a general mobilization in response to the Israeli occupation's punitive measures against prisoners, preparing for the next confrontation.
The Movement affirmed that Palestinian prisoners “will fight Israel and its fascist government with courage and persistence, united under the Palestinian flag and a common cause supported by all national and Islamic factions."
The Movement warned the occupation against assaulting Palestinian prisoners, affirming that any aggression would result in a "tremendous Intifada".
"The next battle, if it occurs, will climax in an open strike, and it will not end except with freedom," the Movement added.
It also urged the Palestinian Resistance factions' Joint Operations Room to permanently monitor the actions of the Israeli occupation to support the prisoners in Israeli prisons.
Earlier today, the statement came shortly after Karim Younis, the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner in an Israeli prison was freed, 40 years after he was first arrested in January 1983.
It is worth noting that Younis' mom died while he was in prison. Since he was captured in 1983, Sabiha Younis long waited for her son until she passed away.
Prisoner Karim Younis, born in 1958 in the village of 'Ara, was arrested by the occupation forces at the age of 23 and was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
