The Chief of Staff for Iran's Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, expressed his condolences directly to the Yemeni people following the news that Yemen's own Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Major General Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, had been martyred.
Mousavi emphasized that martyr al-Ghamari played a crucial and strategic role in defending the dignity and independence of the Yemeni people and in supporting the Palestinian cause. He clarified that through his practical and strategic measures, al-Ghamari had a decisive and inspiring impact in punishing the Israeli entity for its crimes in Gaza and its aggression against Yemen.
He stated that "the resilient Yemeni people now stand on the frontlines, defending the Islamic nation and the oppressed Palestinian people, and they are at the peak of strength and power."
Palestinian Resistance factions
Palestinian Resistance factions also extended their condolences to the Yemeni people, the Ansar Allah movement, and its leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, over the martyrdom of YAF Chief of Staff Major General Mohammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari.
Al-Qassam Brigades
The military wing of Hamas, the al-Qassam Brigades, stated that "history will remember with full pride everyone who supported our Palestinian people, with the Yemen of faith and wisdom at the forefront, which took an honorable stance."
The statement pointed out that the late al-Ghamari was martyred on the path to al-Quds alongside a number of his comrades while defending al-Aqsa and Palestine, as part of the blessed support campaign spearheaded by Yemen.
The al-Qassam Brigades affirmed that the blood of the sons of the Palestinian people and the martyred leaders: Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, Saleh al-Arouri, Mohammad Deif, Hajj Ramadan, and al-Ghamari, will remain a guiding beacon illuminating the path to dignity.
PIJ
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, for its part, emphasized that the Palestinian people will remain eternally faithful to the sacrifices made by the Yemeni people and will always honor their martyrs who ascended in support of the Palestinian cause.
The movement expressed its profound pride that Palestinian and Yemeni blood has intertwined in the struggle against the occupation and in defense of holy sites.
PFLP
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirmed that the late al-Ghamari demonstrated through his conviction, actions, and sacrifices that supporting Gaza is both a national and humanitarian duty, proving that one's stance on Palestine and support for Gaza is the true measure of Arab identity, authenticity, and dignity.
Al-Mujahideen movement
For its part, the al-Mujahideen movement stated that "our people will never forget the sacrifices of the Yemeni people and their armed forces, who stood with and supported Gaza with blood and arms amid widespread collusion and conspiracy."
The movement added that "the sacred blood which has mingled with that of our people in the confrontation with the Zionist enemy is a clear sign of their shared destiny and the righteousness of their path."
