Palestinian factions to consider escalation against “Israel”: sources
Palestinian factions consider options for an escalation with “Israel” against its procrastination in lifting the siege on Gaza.
Palestinian factions "will hold a meeting at the beginning of this week to bring an end to Gaza truce with Israel," sources told Al Mayadeen.
Palestinians factions have threatened to escalate against Israeli occupation if their demands on reconstruction and the blockade are not met. The Palestinian factions had been demanding that "Israel" lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip and initiate the reconstruction process following the Seif Al-Quds battle, which took place between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation in May.
Earlier, sources told Al Mayadeen Monday that the Egyptians did not respond to the comprehensive document recently submitted by Hamas to Cairo, and that there was a deliberate delay in the implementation of the reconstruction process of the Gaza Strip.
The sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the Egyptians are deliberately procrastinating implementing their commitments towards the Gaza Strip and that Hamas and other factions have set a deadline until the end of the year for implementation of the reconstruction process.
In the same context, well-informed sources reported to Al Mayadeen a few days ago that Hamas had handed Egypt a comprehensive document that entails the future of Palestine's politics.
