Palestinian Factions: Continued Israeli Crimes Will Detonate the Situation

Three Palestinian martyrs, including a 31-year-old mother of three children, were killed in the past few hours by Israeli occupation forces.

A 41-year-old Palestinian man was killed by Israeli occupation fire, east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian sources.

Popular Resistance Committees in Gaza mourned the martyr, describing his assassination as a “war crime”, and calling for the completion of the necessary steps to hold the Israeli occupation accountable in international courts.

Earlier, the Israeli occupation forces shot dead a Palestinian woman at the al-Silsilah Gate leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds over an alleged stabbing attack attempt. 

On her part, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that the 31-year-old mother of three children was killed in a cold-blooded shooting, describing that "the Israeli occupation forces have escalated their assault on Palestinians for the past few days through incursions, especially in Al-Aqsa Mosque."

"Israel insists on collective revenge and executions against the Palestinians," our reporter added.

Furthermore, the Israeli undercover units shot Alaa Zayoud from point-blank in the vicinity of the aforementioned house, which led to his martyrdom and the injury of other Palestinians.

In a statement which paid tribute to Alaa Zayoud, the Islamic Jihad movement said, "We continue to resist and confront the enemy, as well as support our heroic prisoners in their battle," adding that "the uprising that erupted today is intensifying with the inexhaustible giving of the martyrs."

On his part, the Leader of the Islamic Jihad Movement Khader Adnan told Al Mayadeen that “the blood of the martyrs will lead to our victory."

Massive crowds mourned the body of Zayoud early Thursday.

This is the third crime committed by the occupation forces today against the Palestinians.

Simultaneously, the Palestinian Joint Chamber of Military Operations warned in a statement from the developments of the successive Israeli actions throughout Palestine, and the Israeli attempt to impose facts on the ground, vowing to carry out an unprecedented retaliation to such Israeli war crimes.

Addressing the Israeli leadership, the statement went on to say the continuation of the Israeli crimes will be a fuse that will detonate the situation, asserting that “Israel” bears full responsibility.
