Palestinian man martyred at hands of Israeli occupation forces
A young Palestinian man is martyred after he succumbed to wounds he had sustained days earlier at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces.
A young Palestinian was martyred on Saturday morning due to injuries sustained during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank days earlier.
The young Mohammed Abu Asab was martyred as a result of critical wounds he sustained during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the Balata camp three days ago, sources familiar with the matter said
Abu Asab was shot multiple times during the occupation forces' incursion into the camp. The raid saw them demolishing the home of a wanted freedom fighter that Palestinian media identified as a member of Fatah.
Lately, the occupation forces have intensified their raids on the Balata camp, leading to fierce clashes every time they attempt to enter the camp.
Violent clashes erupted with the Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday evening as they invaded the eastern area of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
The confrontations saw the Resistance using assault weapons and hand grenades against the Israeli occupation, which in turn responded with machine gun fire and tear gas.
Israeli media said the Balata camp was considered a resistance stronghold in the city of Nablus due to its dense population, narrow alleyways, and closely situated houses, similar to the structure in the Jenin camp and other Palestinian refugee camps.
Al-Quds Brigades announced in a statement that its fighters opened fire at the occupation forces during their invasion of the eastern area and the vicinity of Joseph's Tomb with intensive gunfire and explosive devices.
The Mujahideen Brigades in the occupied West Bank reported detonating an explosive device near an Israeli vehicle during the settlers' invasion of the Qaber Yusuf area in Nablus.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported 85 Palestinians injured during the occupation forces' incursion into the eastern area, including 17 who suffered from suffocation due to the heavy deployment of tear gas.
Another stronghold of Resistance is Jenin, and the occupied Palestinian city also suffered from a raid recently, with the IOF on Thursday murdering with cold blood a young Palestinian man.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the martyr is Mustafa Al-Kastouni, 32, who was declared a martyr after being shot in the head, chest, and stomach by the occupation, during a raid on the city.
The Al-Quds Brigades' Jenin Brigade mourned Al-Kastouni, one of the Palestinian Resistance fighters of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.
The battalion said that the occupation's plan to storm the city was a failure, stressing that the Resistance's fighters confronted the occupation forces' reinforcements, "which later arrived to dismantle and withdraw the special forces."
The Jenin Brigade had confirmed that its resistance fighters were engaged in "violent clashes" with the occupation forces on the Bayader axis, with "heavy salvos of bullets and explosives." Moreover, the battalion clashed with special Israeli forces that infiltrated the eastern neighborhood of Jenin.
