A Palestinian boy was shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), and consequently martyred, during their raid on Dheisheh refugee camp in Beit Lahm, according to Palestinian media.

According to local Palestinian sources, Adam Essam Ayad, who was only 16 years old, was killed this morning, during a confrontation with IOF in the Dheisheh refugee camp, southeast of Beit Lahm.

The sources reported that the IOF opened fire at a group of protesters that had obstructed their path after they stormed the camp, killing Ayad and injuring another.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned the martyr.

It is worth mentioning that this is the third Palestinian to be martyred in the occupied West Bank during the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, Hamad Samer Hassan Hoshieh (21 years old), from the town of Al-Yamoun, was murdered by the IOF with several bullets to the chest, and Fouad Mahmoud Ahmed Abed (18 years old), from Kafr Dan, also succumbed to injuries in his abdomen and thigh, while six others were seriously wounded.
