Palestinian administrative prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons continue their boycott of the occupation courts for the 45th day in a row demanding an end to the arbitrary administrative detention policy under the slogan “Our Choice Is Our Freedom."

The Prisoners’ Information Office announced a new escalation step, as "the sick administrative prisoners in Megiddo prison announced their boycott of medication intake protesting their administrative detention and demanding their immediate release." It is expected that other prisons will join this escalating step.

Yesterday, Sunday, the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission reported that the Israeli oppressive forces stormed the prisoners’ sections in the “Ofer” and “Megiddo” prisons and beat a number of them, threatening to impose new penalties on them. In response, the prisoners escalated their steps.

The Captive Movement announces a full-scale strike in all occupation prisons

The Captive Movement in Israeli occupation prisons said the prisoners have taken gradual escalation steps in response to the prison authority's measures that deprive them of their most basic human rights.

In an interview for Al-Mayadeen, the prisoners said that the Captive Movement with all its sects and various organizational and political affiliations decided to confront the jailers in all prisons.

The prisoners added that today is a day of strike and other escalatory steps will follow if the occupation prison authorities continue to deny their rights and continue the policy of oppression and isolation.
