Palestinian Prisoner Miqdad Al-Qawasmi's Health Deteriorating
The mother of Miqdad Al-Qawasmi reveals the worsening condition of the prisoner's health.
Iman Badr, the mother of prisoner Miqdad al-Qawasmi, who has been on hunger strike for 94 days, revealed that he is in terrible condition as a result of the severe abuse he is receiving from the management of the Kaplan Hospital, where the occupation is detaining him.
In a Facebook video on her page, Badr said her son was in a very poor health condition, explaining that when she visited him, she felt his "limbs cold as snow and his face yellow."
Badr told Al Mayadeen that during the last hour of her visit to Al-Qawasmi, his temperature suddenly rose, and he began to complain of severe pain over his body.
Miqdad's mother added that the hospital administration was doing everything they could to harass him, and the head of the department where he is being held has issued orders to prevent anyone from contacting or communicating with him, restricting his visiting time to 30 minutes.
She added that the hospital issued a decision to prevent her from visiting him on Friday, but Badr forcefully entered to see her son, who was surprised to see her, being aware of the ban.
Al-Qawasmi's mother went on to detail how the hospital is depriving him of his rights and treating him like a prisoner.
The saddened mother added that she called on all who care about human rights to stand by Miqdad to ensure his human rights are respected and that he attains his freedom.
"Miqdad's strike is not for his own sake, but for the sake of all Palestinian people."
