Palestinian Resistance changing course of history: IRGC Gen-Exclusive
Brigadier General Ali Hajizadeh tells Al Mayadeen that "the Palestinian people are the heart of the Islamic world."
The Palestinian cause has become global and is more important today than ever before, pointed out Brigadier General Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Forces.
In an exclusive statement to Al Mayadeen, Hajizadeh stressed that "the people must realize that their Resistance today is changing the course of history."
"They must understand that they have embarked on a great endeavor, and we stand with them in their plight," he said on the 35th anniversary of the passing of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini.
The Brigadier General said that "the Palestinian people are the heart of the Islamic world," noting that "even non-Muslim people around the world have their hearts with Palestine."
Hajizadeh also told Al Mayadeen that "witnessing Israeli crimes in Palestine is truly distressing for everyone."
He indicated that the Iranian people and the world "are perceiving and witnessing what Imam Khomeini foresaw 45 years ago regarding Palestine."
Victory will belong to the Palestinian people
In the same context, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army, told Al Mayadeen that "victory belongs to the Palestinian people" and that "the Israeli occupation entity will collapse soon."
Mousavi emphasized that "the main goal of the Islamic Revolution in Iran is al-Quds and Palestine."
On his part, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani also told Al Mayadeen that the Palestinian cause "is the foremost cause for all the free people of the world," expressing hope for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in the near future.
"We will continue the path of the late President Ebrahim Raisi, and it is certain that we will double all the results achieved," he stressed.
Al-Aqsa Flood put 'Israel' on track to destruction: Sayyed Khamenei
Earlier, the leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, affirmed that "Israel" is slowly dissolving in the view of global observers, emphasizing that the Palestine situation stands as the foremost global concern today.
In his speech on the anniversary of the passing of Imam Khomeini, he highlighted how Operation Al-Aqsa Flood has brought international focus to Palestine, bringing it forth and presenting it as a primary global issue.
"Palestinians, during Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, cornered the Israeli enemy into a precarious position from which it cannot escape," the Iranian leader affirmed, adding, "We're witnessing the beginning of the end of the Israeli occupation."
Sayyed Khamenei stressed that "Palestinians have to take matters into their own hands in the battleground and confront the usurping enemy [Israel]. Only then will it be forced to retreat, and this is what we are witnessing today."
Citing Western analysts, he emphasized that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood would change the world, adding that "Israel" suffered a major defeat from the Gaza-based Resistance group.
