Operation Al-Aqsa Flood: A decisive blow

Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was a decisive blow to "Israel", the Iranian leader further stressed, adding that the operation happened right on time and destroyed the enemy's plans.

"Al-Aqsa Flood put the Zionist regime on a track that shall end with nothing but its decay and destruction. The [October 7] operation destroyed the great international conspiracy for the West Asia region. This is the miracle of Al-Aqsa Flood," he affirmed.

Citing Western analysts, he emphasized that Operation Al-Aqsa Flood would change the world, adding that "Israel" suffered a major defeat from the Gaza-based Resistance group.

"The Zionist regime is gradually dissolving in front of the eyes of the people of the world," Sayyed Khamenei affirmed.

He further stressed that what Imam Khomeini predicted about the future of Palestine is being realized today.

Reflecting on the legacy of Raisi, Amir-Abdollahian

In his address, the Iranian leader acknowledged the recent tragic loss of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in the helicopter crash.

Praising the late President's dedication to serving Iran and its people, the leader honored Raisi and Amir-Abdollahian as "Martyrs of Service," adding that the former distinguished himself from all other Iranian figures by the profound impact he had made.

He also commended the Iranian people for their dignified participation in the farewell ceremonies for the late president and foreign minister.

Lastly, Sayyed Khamenei urged Iranians to ensure the upcoming presidential election is conducted with honor, emphasizing that a strong voter turnout would be a significant achievement for the nation.

"The upcoming elections comprise a profound responsibility, and they stand as an extension for the turnout in the martyrs' farewell ceremonies," he affirmed.

It is worth noting that Iran opened, on May 30, a five-day window for interested candidates to register their names for the 14th presidential elections as successors to the late President.

The heads of the three powers in Iran have lately agreed to hold presidential elections in the country on June 28, following the initial agreement that took place between Iran's Guardian Council and the Elections Commission.

Candidates must be approved by the 12-member Guardian Council, which oversees constitutional and religious compliance for fair elections. The Interior Ministry will announce the approved nominees on June 11.
