Palestinian Resistance destroys Merkava, confronts IOF in north Gaza
The Palestinian Resistance in Gaza continues confronting invading Israeli occupation forces, inflicting heavy damage and losses among their ranks.
The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced targeting an Israeli Merkava 4 tank using a Shawaz charge, near the Khazandar station in northwestern Gaza City, as the battle of Al-Aqsa Flood continues for the 397th day.
In westernmost Jabalia in northern Gaza, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, engaged in fierce confrontations against Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles in the al-Fakhoura area, using anti-tank guided missiles and machine gun weapons.
In turn, the Abu Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades bombarded the Israeli Abu Mtaibaq military site, located in the easternmost part of the central district, with a rocket barrage.
On Wednesday at dawn, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced targeting the Netiv HaAsara settlement in the Gaza Envelope, with a rocket salvo.
The Palestinian Resistance has been intensifying its operations against the invading Israeli forces, heavily targeting and ambushing their soldiers, while simultaneously destroying their military vehicles.
On Tuesday, a five-soldier Israeli infantry force was entirely eliminated by the al-Qassam Brigades after the Resistance fighters engaged in point-blank confrontations using machine guns and hand grenades.
In another complex operation, the Brigades said its Resistance fighters also targeted an Israeli Merkava tank near the al-Yaman al-Saeed Hospital, in the center of Jabalia, using an al-Yassin 105 RPG.
The Israeli occupation has thus suffered significant losses during its ground invasion of Gaza, losing 368 soldiers admitted under the "permitted to publish" clause.
