The Palestinian Resistance factions condemned on Saturday the US-UK aggression on Yemen, which led to several martyrs and injuries.
In a statement, Hamas described the aggression on Yemen as "a blatant violation of international law, by attacking the sovereignty and stability of Yemen" and expressed its full solidarity with the country and its people.
The Palestinian Resistance movement commended Yemen's "actions in support of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Gaza in the face of the genocidal war," which it describes as "a disgrace to humanity."
On its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement described the aggression as "audacious" support for the Israeli regime and its crimes against the Palestinian people, affirming that "the attacks on Yemen come as protection for the Israeli entity and violates all those who stand by the Palestinian people who are facing the occupation's monstrous crimes."
The movement added that it prides itself in Yemen's stance, which it said "embodied a genuine Arab and Islamic stance in supporting Gaza and backing the Palestinian people and their Resistance," extending its "salute to Yemen—its people and leadership—for their steadfastness in the face of this colonial offensive."
Meanwhile, the Popular Resistance Commitees affirmed in a statement that "the American-British aggression against Yemen comes as part of the US bias and defense of the Israeli occupation entity," adding that the attacks will "not succeed in breaking the strong and steadfast will of the Yemeni people in confronting the forces of Zionist-American tyranny and arrogance."
Yemen "will remain a symbol of chivalry, dignity, and true Arab-Islamic authenticity," the group further affirmed.
In addition, the Palestinian Freedom Movement said in a statement that the US aggression on Yemen is a "war by proxy for Israel and a clear and blatant bias by the US and European administrations at the expense of Palestinian and Yemeni blood."
It added that the American assault on Yemen "will not break Yemen's will and will only strengthen resilience and insistence on aiding and supporting Gaza..."
US-UK launch aggression on Yemen
These statements come after the launch of a US-led aggression on Yemen on March 15, striking several areas across the country after the reinstatement of Yemen's ban on Israeli-linked vessels.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, multiple air raids carried out by the US-UK coalition of aggression targeted a residential neighborhood in the Sha'ub district, north of the capital, which, according to the Yemeni Health Ministry spokesperson, killed 13 civilians and injured nine others in a preliminary toll.
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday the launch of military strikes against Yemen's Ansar Allah in response to the group's operations in the Red Sea, warning that if they did not cease targeting Israeli and Israeli-affiliated commercial vessels along with US warships operating in the region, "hell will rain down upon you."
"The Houthi attack on American vessels will not be tolerated. We will use overwhelming lethal force until we have achieved our objective," Trump posted on Truth Social.
The NYT reported that the United States launched large-scale military strikes against "dozens of targets" in Yemen, stating that US President Trump ordered airstrikes on alleged "radars, air defenses, and missile and drone systems," while Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that multiple airstrikes by the US-UK coalition targeted a residential neighborhood in al-Jarf, north of Sanaa, leading to civilian casualties.
The aggression on Yemen follows the Yemeni Armed Forces' announcement of the resumption of military action against all Israeli-linked vessels in a designated zone in the bodies of water surrounding Yemen.
