Palestinian Resistance factions mourned 17-year-old Palestinian Ishaq al- Ajloni who was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces at Qalandia checkpoint, north of occupied Al-Quds.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement expressed its condolences to al-Ajloni's family, affirming that the Israeli occupation's heinous crime would increase the Palestinian people's strength and resilience in confronting the IOF and its terrorism.
The movement also stressed that resistance is the first line of defense against the occupation.
For its part, Hamas mourned the martyr, vowing that the aggression of the Israeli occupation against "our people and our sanctities will be confronted with steadfastness and solid resistance."
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) also mourned the martyr, considering that the assassination of Al-Ajloni is a continuation of the occupation's ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
Earlier today, two Israeli security guards were wounded in a Palestinian shooting operation at the Qalandia military checkpoint near occupied Al-Quds in the early hours of Saturday, the Israeli broadcasting authority said.
The occupied West Bank also witnessed a new escalation after Israeli occupation forces stormed the Jenin camp earlier this week, resulting in the martyrdom of seven Palestinians, including children, and the injury of more than 91 others.
Earlier this week, a group of Israeli occupation settlers broke into a mosque in the occupied West Bank and ripped pages from the Holy Quran before throwing it into the street.
An Israeli settler accompanied by a dog desecrated the Muslim Holy book in front of a mosque in the Palestinian village of Urif south of Nablus, while a group of masked settlers were on the lookout.
The same men later broke into a school in the village and set fire to a number of its classrooms before attempting to burn down Palestinian homes and mosques in the village.
On Wednesday, one Palestinian was martyred and dozens were injured following an attack by Israeli settlers on the town of Turmus Aya, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, as settlers ravaged Palestinian villages, setting homes, shops, and cars on fire.
