The Palestinian resistance factions warned on Thursday the Israeli occupation against making a blunder and allowing for the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque through "organizing the terrorist flag march."

"This plan will act as a powder keg that will explode and set the whole region on fire," the factions said on the repercussions of the Israeli occupation carrying out its infamous "Flag March".

The factions, during a meeting in the office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in the Gaza Strip, announced that they were on high alert and closely watching the Israeli occupation's every statement, development, and violation, holding "Tel Aviv" accountable for any response to its violations.

The people all over occupied Palestine, the factions said, are united and ready to respond to any aggression. "The Palestinian people and resistance will not concede any of the achievements made via the Battle of Seif Al-Quds."

The resistance also reiterated their heightened level of alert, calling on the Palestinian people to get ready to "defend the land and sanctities and confront the enemy on all contact points."

They also called on all the Palestinians in occupied Al-Quds, the occupied West Bank, and the lands occupied in 1948 to take to the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque starting Friday and consider May 29 a national day of defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and mass mobilization.

"Al-Quds and the sanctities are off-limits. Our people, with all their strength, will not stand idle before this plan, and they will confront it by all means. They will use all means available to resist and protect our people, land, and sanctities against Zionist aggression."

The factions took to the international arena, calling on all international and Arab countries, especially Egypt, to "urgently interfere to curb the occupation's criminal behavior." "The repercussions of the Zionist plans to storm Al-Aqsa will be grave, and they will not be limited to the Palestinian land; they will set the whole region on fire."

Commenting on the latest developments in occupied Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Wednesday that the Israeli occupation doing anything to Al-Aqsa would lead to a regional war. "It will lead to undesirable consequences."

He also concluded by noting that the Palestinian resistance chose to utilize its option to respond to any Israeli meddling with Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Earlier, on the 18th of May, the Israeli Minister of Internal Security, Omar Bar-Lev, and the commissioner of the occupation police, Kobi Shabtai, had given permission for the "flag march". The march is planned to be held at the end of this month and pass through Bab Al-Amoud in occupied al-Quds.

The Israeli occupation canceled the "flag march" last year for the first time after the Palestinian resistance launched missiles toward occupied Al-Quds.
