Palestinian Resistance in West Bank will surprise 'Israel': Hamas
Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ahmad Abdel Hadi, tells Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation government is systematically working to eliminate the Palestinian presence in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Resistance did not participate in the latest negotiations, which included dangerous proposals aimed at controlling the entire Gaza Strip and finding an alternative to the Resistance, confirmed Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ahmad Abdel Hadi on Tuesday.
Regarding developments in the West Bank, Abdul Hadi told Al Mayadeen that the Israeli occupation government is systematically working to eliminate the Palestinian presence there.
The Israeli military launched a large-scale offensive targeting resistance fighters in Jenin and Tulkarm, marking the most extensive military action since Operation "Defensive Shield" in 2002. Israeli radio confirmed that this operation involves both air force and ground troops.
In response, Palestinian Resistance factions have declared Operation Terror of the Camps as they confront the wide-ranging Israeli assault, continuing their operations and confrontations across northern West Bank areas.
Abdul Hadi highlighted that the pressure on the people in the West Bank, through repeated incursions, similar to what is happening in Gaza, is part of a strategic plan.
However, the Hamas official vowed that the Israeli occupation will be surprised by the resilience of the Palestinians in the West Bank.
Meanwhile, Abdel Hadi stated that the security apparatus and the institutions of the Palestinian Authority need to side with the Palestinian people and cease coordination with the Israeli occupation.
Additionally, Abdul Hadi called on Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to begin forming a technocratic government and to implement the outcomes of the Beijing Agreement.
In July, 14 Palestinian factions signed in the Chinese capital an agreement to set up an "interim national reconciliation government" to govern the emergency that followed the Israeli occupation's genocidal war against the Gaza Strip and the increased pressure and tensions across the West Bank.
