The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) strongly condemned the Israeli Police Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir's storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning. It considered that what happened is an "unprecedented provocation that threatens further confrontations," and condemned "the disregard for the demands to stop."

According to the MFA, the incursion "also legitimized further incursions and profanation of Al-Aqsa by extremist settlers, and even encouraged and protected them to commit the most heinous crimes and attacks against Al-Aqsa."

The Ministry also held the occupation government's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, responsible for this flagrant attack on Al-Aqsa, and will follow it up at all levels in coordination with Jordan.

Hamas: Al-Aqsa Mosque was and will remain Palestinian, Arab and Islamic

For his part, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said, "The crime of Ben Gvir's storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque is a continuation of the Zionist occupation's aggression against our sanctities and its war on its [Al-Aqsa] Arab identity."

Qassem pointed out that "Al-Aqsa Mosque was and will remain Palestinian, Arab and Islamic, and no fascist force or person can change this fact."

He also stressed that the Palestinian people will continue to defend their sanctities and Al-Aqsa Mosque and fight to purify it from the defilement of the occupation. Furthermore, he noted that this battle will not stop until victory is achieved through the expulsion of the occupier from all of Palestine.

Popular Front: The criminal Itamar Ben Gvir is adding fuel to the fire

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine considers that "the criminal Itamar Ben Gvir pours fuel on the fire and defies the will of our people by storming Al-Aqsa Mosque."

It also stated that "the Palestinian people and its Resistance will not remain silent about these crimes, and that the final word will be for our people and their resistance brigades," adding that "the occupation government, in its current formation, threatens a broader aggression against our people, so we must prepare well and unified to confront this aggression."

The Popular Front believed that the international community should intervene before it is too late and end this aggression, which could lead "to the explosion of the entire region."

Resistance Committees in Palestine calls for a general mobilization

The Palestinian Resistance Committees stated that Ben-Gvir's incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque is blatant aggression that must be confronted by all components of the nation.

Moreover, the Committees pointed out that confronting the new Zionist enemy government's fascism and defending Al-Aqsa Mosque requires unity of the people and nation. They added that the resistance approach aims to "get rid of the usurping occupiers and sweep them away from our land and our sanctities."

The Palestinian Committees additionally called on the Palestinian people to motivate a general mobilization, escalation of resistance, and the igniting of a revolution of anger in the face of the occupation on all axes of engagement, in response to the crime of storming Al-Aqsa Mosque and its desecration by the criminal Ben-Gvir.
