Palestinian shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in Al-Bireh
Palestinian Muhammad Issa Abbas succumbed to a wound he sustained after being shot by the occupation forces near the Al-Amari refugee camp.
A Palestinian man who reportedly fired on Israeli troops in the occupied West Bank Wednesday was shot dead by Israeli forces, the forces and Palestinian health ministry revealed.
The Palestinian health ministry said Muhammad Issa Abbas, 26, died after being shot in the back by Israeli forces in the Al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah.
The ministry added that the martyr had been transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in a critical condition, and the doctors failed to save his life.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces opened fire on the car in which martyr Abbas was traveling from the Al-Amari camp.
Al-Mayadeen correspondent reported that clashes erupted during Palestinian youths confronting the Israeli occupation forces during their storming of the Sath Marhaba area in the city of Al-Bireh in the West Bank.
Israeli media reported that a shooting had targeted an occupying army force near the "Psagot" settlement, which is built on Al-Bireh lands.
Israeli aggression on Palestinians
Violence simmered in the occupied West Bank for years killing Palestinians in large numbers. It is worth noting that multiple Palestinians have been shot and killed by Israeli forces just this month.
Al-Mayadeen correspondent reports receiving news of an alleged attempt of car-ramming against Israeli soldiers near an Israeli military checkpoint, in the north of the occupied West Bank. Israeli media reported that the Israeli occupation "shot a Palestinian who tried to car-ram a number of Israeli soldiers near Jenin."
Earlier, the northwestern Al-Khalil town of Beit Ummar bid farewell to martyred 13-year-old boy Mohamad Alami, who was martyred after the occupation forces shot him.
