6 Palestinians Continue Hunger Strike in Occupation Prisons
The health condition of sick prisoners are among the worst in the Israeli prison system.
Six prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons continue their hunger strike. Of them are Kayed al-Fasfous, who has reached a dangerous 113 days, with fears that his life is in danger.
Ayyad Hraimi who has been on strike for 43 days, was transferred from Ofer Prison to Ramla prison clinic due to deterioration of his health.
Miqdad al-Qawasmi has been on strike for 106 days, Alaa al-Araj for 89 days, Hisham Abu-Hawash for 80 days, and Louay al-Ashkar for 25 days.
Rateb Hrebat has been on strike for 27 days, in solidarity with his fellow strikers.
The detainees and ex-detainees Affairs Commission announced that the health condition of prisoners in the Ramla prison clinic is constantly deteriorating.
On Thursday the commission stated that the total number of prisoners in the Ramla clinic was 15, including the two prisoners Hisham Abu-Hawash and Alaa al-Araj.
It detailed how the majority of the ill prisoners take more than 10 types of sedatives and hypnotics to relieve their aches and anguish, their cases being the most severe of all sick prisoners.
