Palestinians mourned Saturday the bodies of two martyrs who were handed over by the occupation forces in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

The first martyr whose body was mourned is young Mohammad Damer Hariz. His body was handed over by the occupation authorities to medical teams at the Ni’lin checkpoint, west of Ramallah.

Last August, Hariz was martyred during confrontations with the occupation forces near Deir Abu Mash'al.

The occupation forces withheld the martyr's body and prevented the medical staff from reaching it.

The child died after being shot by the occupation forces on August 20, 2020, when he was along with two other children near a settlement adjacent to his village of Deir Abu Mish'al.

Matar was wounded, arrested, and his martyrdom was announced a few hours later, while the other injured children were taken to a Ramallah hospital for treatment.

His body was withheld by the occupation for one year.
