The Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern area of Nablus with dozens of military vehicles, heading toward Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb), Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported late Wednesday.

"The goal of the storming is the Israeli occupation forces enabling hundreds of settlers to reach Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb)," Al Mayadeen's correspondent said.

Our correspondent added that as the Israeli occupation was storming the area, Palestinian youth were confronting the Israeli forces and settlers.

"Two Palestinians were wounded as a result of Israeli occupation firing live bullets near Askar Camp, east of Nablus," he said.

Dozens of civilians suffocated due to the IOF's use of tear gas during the Israeli occupation forces' storming east of Nablus.

The Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by Israeli settlers, both of which in large numbers, stormed the Al-Quds and Amman Streets in the vicinity of Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb) east of Nablus, and the Askar and Balata refugee camps. The Israeli occupation forces shot live munition at the Palestinians and heavily deployed tear gas and stun grenades, leading to various injuries.

Israeli media later reported that the Israeli occupation forces' military vehicles sustained various damages amid confrontation with Palestinians near the Qaber Youssef (Joseph's Tomb) in Nablus.

Just days ago, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the West Bank reported that Resistance fighters were confronting the Israeli occupation forces in Nablus as they were besieging one of the houses.

Our correspondent said the IOF incursion into Nablus coincides with the flying of Israeli reconnaissance drones over the city.

The Nablus Battalion in Al-Quds Brigades announced that it targeted Israeli forces and vehicles on Hittin Street with heavy bullets

The confrontations came two days after the Egyptian-mediated armistice agreement between "Israel" and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement entered into force.

The Israeli occupation launched on August 5 an aggression on the Gaza Strip, and Al-Quds Brigades announced that Tayseer Al-Jaabari, a military commander in the northern Gaza Strip, had been martyred.

Consequently, Al-Quds Brigades launched an operation in response to the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip, by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
