Pentagon controls about 60 biolabs on borders of Russia, China: Russian MoD
Russia says the US administration is consistently building up its military biological potential in various regions of the world, and Ukraine is preparing for another provocation in Kharkov.
The United States is building up its military-biological potential, taking advantage of gaps in international legislation, Igor Kirillov, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense of the Russian Armed Forces, revealed Wednesday at an informal meeting of the UN Security Council.
"Using gaps in international legislation, the US administration is consistently building up its military biological potential in various regions of the world," Kirillov indicated.
Citing data from the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Kirillov noted that today the Pentagon controlled 336 laboratories in 30 states outside national jurisdiction.
"Only in the territories bordering with Russia and China, there are about 60 facilities that have been modernized since 2005 at the expense of the US Defense Department," the Russian general highlighted.
Kirillov went on to list various pathogens that are of interest to the US as potential agents of biological weapons, such as those causing the Dengue virus, Anthrax, Crimean-Congo fever, and some other diseases transmitted by blood-sucking insects.
"The atypical forms of plague are of particular interests to the United States. The search for such pathogens is carried out throughout Georgia and in close proximity to the Russian Border," Kirillov warned the council.
In March the Russian Defense Ministry revealed that the United States had spent more than $200 million on the operation of biological laboratories in Ukraine, which Moscow believes participated in the American military biological program. According to the Russian military, the investment fund of Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, was participating in financing the program.
The Russian Defense Ministry pointed out that US President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, is involved in financing the infamous biolaboratories in Ukraine through his investment fund, Rosemont Seneca.

Russia: Ukraine preparing another provocation in Kharkov
In a different context, Mikhail Mizintsev, the head of the Russian National Defense Control Center, said Ukrainian nationalists have shelled the Derhachi settlement in the Kharkov region, filmed destruction and "many dead" civilians to share this footage with the Western media.
"Ukrainian nationalists fired at the settlement of Derhachi in the Kharkov region, after which they filmed the destroyed buildings and ‘many dead’ to share it with the Western media," Mizintsev told a briefing, adding that the "representatives of Western news agencies participated" in this incident.
The defense official added that civilians were paid $25 each for participation in "staged filming".
