Peskov: Russia will not sell oil at loss
Peskov says that oil flow gets redirected as demand falls and increases in different places.
According to the Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, Russia will “certainly” not sell its oil at a loss.
During a press conference call, Peskov told reporters that oil flow gets redirected as demand falls and increases in different places.
The Kremlin said on Thursday that the United States' intentions to give Ukraine four MQ-1C Gray Eagle drones armed with Hellfire missiles for combat use against Russia would not affect the scope of the military operation.
Peskov told reporters on a conference call that "pumping (Western) weapons into Ukraine does not change all the parameters of the special operation," adding that "its goals will be achieved, but this will bring more suffering to Ukraine."
The US continues to pour weapons into Ukraine and at the same time claims it does not seek igniting a wider European war. The Pentagon stated that it has obtained guarantees from Ukraine that the new rockets will not be launched into Russian territory. On its part, the Kremlin accused the US of “pouring fuel on the fire.”
As the war in Ukraine rages on, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to ask for more and better armaments, accusing the West of moving too slowly.
