Pezeshkian visits Lebanese injured in 'Israel's' electronic attack
Ninety-five Lebanese, who were injured in "Israel's" recent terrorist attack on Lebanon, have been transported to Iran for treatment.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited the victims of the Israeli electronic attacks in Lebanon on Friday, accompanied by the Lebanese ambassador to Tehran, Hassan Abbas.
During the visit, Abbas expressed his appreciation for the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
It is worth noting that the Iranian Red Crescent Society announced Thursday that 95 Lebanese, who were injured in "Israel's" recent terrorist attack on Lebanon, have been transported to Iran for treatment.
Moreover, early on Wednesday, the Society dispatched a medical relief team, composed of 12 general and specialist doctors, 12 nurses, and aid workers, to Lebanon to assist in the treatment process of the injured.
This comes after pagers exploded simultaneously on Tuesday across Lebanon and Syria and a new set of bombs—hidden in walkie-talkies—detonated on Wednesday in Beirut and other parts of Lebanon.
The total death toll from these terrorist attacks has now reached at least 37, including a 9-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy, with over 3,000 individuals injured.
Doctors at a hospital in Beirut reported that many of the injured had suffered eye loss and required limb amputations. The detonating walkie-talkies ignited more than 70 fires in homes and businesses across Lebanon and damaged over a dozen vehicles.
Pezeshkian extended his condolences to the Lebanese people over the martyrdom of tens of them and the injuries sustained by thousands, in what he termed a "mass assassination" carried out by the "criminal Zionist regime."
He affirmed that "Israel" would "definitely be punished justly."
In a message posted on his X account on Thursday, President Pezeshkian stated that "the Zionist enemy will be punished justly."

He added, “We express our deepest condolences and sympathies to the dear people of Lebanon for the martyrdom and injury of thousands of Lebanese citizens as a result of treacherous mass terror carried out by the terrorist regime of Israel by exploding communication devices (pagers) without distinguishing between civilians and others.”
The president condemned this "heinous crime" targeting the Lebanese people and emphasized Iran's support for the Lebanese government and its citizens. He called on international organizations to "fulfill their responsibility over the tragic incident" and wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the blasts.
On Wednesday, Pezeshkian said that Western countries should feel "shame" for supporting the crimes of the Israeli regime.
"Western countries and the Americans... fully support the crimes, killings and indiscriminate assassinations of the Zionist regime," he said in a statement, adding that the explosions should bring them "shame".
