After the release of the fourth batch of Israeli captives, Hamas affirmed that the handover, held before a platform displaying images of martyred leaders al-Daif and his brothers, symbolizes the commitment of al-Qassam fighters to continue their path.
Within the framework of 'Flood of the Free', the Resistance released three Israeli captives, one of whom is an Israeli with American citizenship, in exchange for the release of a new batch of heroic Palestinian prisoners from the occupation’s prisons.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas affirmed that the handover process, held in front of a platform displaying images of martyred leaders al-Deif and his fellow members of the Military Council, served as a powerful message of loyalty and commitment.
The statement emphasized that the men of al-Qassam will remain "steadfast and continue their journey."

It highlighted that despite the challenging conditions, the al-Qassam Brigades prioritized providing necessary medical care to the Israeli captive, who holds American citizenship and suffers from multiple health issues.
The movement regarded the images of the mass gathering and the popular crowds celebrating this achievement as a "true referendum on the approach of resistance as the path to liberating the land and holy sites."
"The good physical and psychological condition of the enemy's prisoners reflects the values of our resistance and its moral commitment to prisoners, while the criminal occupation commits the most heinous violations against our prisoners in their prisons," the statement read.

Hamas emphasized that the successful completion of the fourth exchange operation today, with all its creativity and pride, strengthens the movement's values and principled commitment to the terms of the agreement.
Earlier this morning, the release of the fourth batch of Israeli captives held by Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip began, in exchange for 183 Palestinian prisoners held by the Israeli occupation. This marks the first phase of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.
The handover took place amid a large popular gathering at the handover sites in Khan Younis, south of Gaza, and the Gaza port, north of the Strip.
