The Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine is organizing Saturday a massive rally in support of and in solidarity with Yemen.

In a statement, the movement said a march will take place starting from Palestine Square to the Abu Khadra Street in Gaza, calling for mass participation in support of the Yemeni people, and "in rejection of the destructive war on Yemen and its people."

The PIJ also called to stop the massacres committed against the Yemeni people, and to end the war on Yemen, in compliance with the teachings of Islam, "which stressed on the sanctity of blood and honor, and forbade conflict and division."

The Movement affirmed Friday that the deliberate targeting of Yemenis by US aircraft is evidence of the failure of the Saudi-led coalition aggression and its defeat on the battlefields.

In a statement, the movement had condemned the massacres committed by the Saudi-led coalition, stressing that the deliberate targeting of civilians is "a desperate and cheap" attempt to break the will of Yemenis who refused the dictates of regimes that linked their fate to US-Israeli policies in the region and abandoned the Palestinian cause and Al-Quds.

Democratic Front: War on Yemen has proven absurdity

For its part, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine condemned the massacres that killed dozens of civilians in Yemen and considered the latest events a dangerous escalation that would deepen the political crisis in the country and cause more disasters.

The front underlined that the long years of war on Yemen have proven its absurdity, and its failure to achieve its goals.

The war on Yemen has led to more destruction and disasters at the expense of innocent citizens, the front added.

The statement comes after more than 65 were martyred and more than 120 were wounded as a result of the Saudi-led coalition massacre that targeted the central prison in Saada.

Violent air raids

On Thursday, the Saudi-led coalition of aggression launched a series of violent air raids on Al-Hudaydah, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

The Saudi-led coalition's air force targeted the telecommunication tower in the city, our correspondent added, which resulted in six martyrs, including three children, and 18 wounded, most of whom were children.

The internet was cut off in all parts of Yemen following the attack.
