In a message of solidarity and pride, Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, extended congratulations to the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon for their steadfastness and sacrifices.

In his statement addressed to Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem, al-Nakhalah highlighted the shared struggle between the Palestinian and Lebanese Resistance movements against common enemies, including the United States and its allies.

"From Palestine to Lebanon, from steadfast Gaza with its Resistance fighters to the resilient Southern Suburb and its people, and from the brave fighters of Palestine to the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, you have upheld the banner of Resistance with dignity and pride despite the wounds and the enemies' onslaught," he wrote.

Al-Nakhalah praised Hezbollah's unwavering support for Palestine, stating, "You fought, stood firm, and supported your brethren in Palestine, offering precious and pure blood while others failed to provide even a sip of water to the thirsty and hungry among the Palestinian people."

He also commended the Lebanese people's resilience, Hezbollah's fallen martyrs, and the bravery of its fighters, particularly those stationed on the southern front. He reaffirmed the unity of their cause, expressing confidence in victory through steadfastness and faith.

Al-Nakhalah concluded with the immortal words of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah: "We are never defeated! We either achieve victory or victory."

Below is the letter translated in full:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

"Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are [true] believers"

A message of congratulations from the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, the Mujahid Commander Ziyad al-Nakhalah, to the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon

To His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, may Allah preserve him:

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

From Palestine to Lebanon, from steadfast Gaza with its men and Resistance fighters to the fighting Southern Suburb [of Beirut] and its people, and from the valiant fighters and resisters of Palestine to the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon,

All glory is yours as you record this steadfastness and strength, raising the banner of Resistance high with pride and dignity despite the wounds and the enemies' conspiracies, spearheaded by the United States and its allies.

You fought, endured, and supported your brethren in Palestine, offering precious and pure blood while others failed to provide even a sip of water to the thirsty and hungry among the people of Palestine.

I congratulate your steadfastness and that of the dear Lebanese people. I congratulate your martyrs who have risen in defense of religion, dignity, and homeland. I congratulate your brave and valiant fighters everywhere in Lebanon, especially the Resistance fighters on the southern front, who remain steadfast in their positions with their hands on the trigger.

By Allah's will, we will remain with you as one united front and one resistance until victory, with Allah’s help.

I repeat the immortal words of the martyr on the path to al-Quds, His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah:
"We are never defeated! We either achieve victory or victory."

Ceasefire in Lebanon

The Israeli occupation agreed to a ceasefire deal with Lebanon, which officially took effect on Wednesday at 4:00 am (local time).

On Tuesday, US President Joe Biden announced that the governments of "Israel" and Lebanon have accepted a proposal to end the war, describing the development as "good news".

He said that he spoke with the prime ministers of "Israel" and Lebanon and was "pleased to announce that their governments have accepted the United States' proposal to end the devasting conflict between Israel and Hezbollah."

Biden confirmed that as soon as the ceasefire takes effect, it will permanently end hostilities, thanking French President Emmanuel Macron for his "partnership in reaching this moment."

He added that the Lebanese Army would regain control over its territory following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
