PIJ's Nakhaleh praises Iran role in aid of Palestine
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement's leader, Ziyad al-Nakhaleh, travels to Iran for high-level talks amid increasing Israeli brutality.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) Secretary-General Ziyad al-Nakhaleh praised Saturday Iran's diplomatic efforts in support of Palestine and in clarifying its stances before the world.
During a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the top Palestinian official underlined that the steadfastness of the Palestinian people would serve as an example for the whole world, pledging that they would achieve victory.
Al-Nakhaleh met with the Iranian Foreign Minister during his latest trip to Iran, which saw the two parties discussing the latest developments of the war on Gaza and the genocide being carried out against the Palestinian people for nearly the past six months.
This follows on the heels of a similar visit made by Hamas politburo chief Ismail Haniyeh to the Iranian capital.
During his meeting with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, Haniyeh said that the resistance appreciates the stance and support of the numerous axis of resistance fronts.
Hamas confirmed that Haniyeh, heading a high-ranking delegation of Hamas officials, arrived in the Iranian capital on Tuesday.
According to the statement released by the movement, Haniyeh is scheduled to hold a series of meetings and discussions with the Iranian leadership about the latest political and battlefield developments in the Gaza Strip, as well as other events relating to the Palestinian cause.
Haniyeh particularly expressed that Hamas appreciates "Iran's position on Palestine," stressing that the image of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) has been "shattered," its true nature has been exposed without embellishment and it now lives in "political isolation."
The head of the Palestinian resistance expressed that the truth about US positions has been exposed through its absolute support for the Israeli occupation and support for its many crimes which include genocide.
