PIJ: the assassinated leaders will surely be avenged
In a statement, the Al-Quds Brigade warned that avenging Ali Ghali, the leader who was assassinated this morning is imminent.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, released today a threatening message to the Israeli enemy, which depicts fighters lolling rockers into launchers: coupled with the phrase "they will surely be drowned" cited from a quranic verse.
"Avenging the assassinated commander Ali Ghali is imminent," the PIJ statement read.
Additionally, a senior PIJ official told Al Mayadeen the fervor of the Al-Quds Brigades fighters will not be affected by the assassination of the leaders.

This comes as the Israeli occupation continues its heinous aggression against the Gaza Strip for the third day in a row, while the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinians martyred, as a result, has risen to 25, in addition to more than 70 injuries.

The Israeli occupation had launched at Tuesday dawn a brutal aggression against Gaza and targeted several areas in the Strip, including the homes of PIJ leaders, which resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinians, including three Al-Quds Brigades leaders.
On Wednesday, Al Mayadeen correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported that a Palestinian was martyred and another was seriously injured in an Israeli occupation shelling that targeted east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Strip.
Early on Thursday morning, Three Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential building in Hamad City, northwest of Khan Yunis, the Gaza Strip, an Al Mayadeen correspondent reported.
It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, sources in the Palestinian Resistance factions' joint operations room told Al Mayadeen that "the occupation pressed through various mediators to push for a ceasefire," noting that "the Resistance remained steadfast in its demand for a clear [Israeli] commitment to stopping the assassinations policy."
The sources also expressed the Resistance's "readiness to fight for the longest time period yet and to expand the ring of fire if necessary."
