6 Prisoners of Hunger Strike in Critical Condition
Palestinians in occupied territories demonstrate in solidarity with prisoners.
Six Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons have entered a critical health situation as they persevere in their hunger strike, protesting their administrative detention.
The Palestinian Information Office revealed that the Israeli occupation transferred the prisoner Shadi Abu Akr, who has been on hunger strike for 65 days, to Kaplan hospital due to deterioration of his health condition in the prisons.
On Wednesday, the Ofer Military Court of Appeals held a new session for the detainee Shadi Abu Akr, where the court confirmed his administrative detention for 6 months, while he was not present due to his worsening health condition.
A campaign was held outside Kaplan hospital on Thursday, in support of al-Qawasmi and the hunger strikers, while the city of al-Nasra organized a solidarity event.
Supporters at the demonstrations chanted in support of the prisoners to fight to stop their suffering, as well as pressuring the occupation to free them, especially since a number of them are in critical condition.
Hundreds of activists around the world expressed their solidarity with the prisoners on hunger strike, while some declared a 24-hour hunger strike.
