Pro-Israeli "unwelcome" in Dubai
Yoseph Haddad alleges that he was beaten in Dubai due to his pro-Israeli views, and there are speculations that he leverages these perspectives to gain publicity.
Pro-Israeli Yoseph Haddad claimed that he and his family were beaten while boarding a flight bound for "Tel Aviv" from Dubai.
In a post on Telegram, Haddad, who served in the Golani Brigade of the Israeli occupation forces, recounted the incident. He alleged that a group of individuals, who recognized him and were aware of his pro-"Israel" activism, instigated the attack.
He further expressed gratitude to the authorities in Dubai for their response to the incident. Haddad also claimed that his mother sustained injuries and he shared an image of her hand with a bandage.
Who is Yoseph Haddad?
Identifying himself as an "Arab-Israeli," Yoseph Haddad served with the Israeli occupation forces. He was dispatched to Lebanon, contributing to the 2006 Israeli war, a move criticized for its impact on civilian lives.
Notably, Haddad avoids acknowledging Palestinians as such, opting instead to label them as "Arabs," thereby erasing their distinct identity. He also overlooks significant events, including the 1948 Nakba, Israeli transgressions against Palestinians, military installations, checkpoints, and the Separation Wall.

Some critics speculate whether Haddad's actions are driven by a desire for fame. He consistently utilizes opportunities to present his perspective and advocate for normalizing ties with the Israeli occupation. In 2021, Yoseph appeared on the Al Arabiya news channel's TV show in Dubai.
During the interview, he sidestepped discussions about Israeli crimes, forced displacements, and harsh policies imposed on Palestinians, instead characterizing them as "racist acts" attributed to a "minority" within "Israel".
