BREAKING
Sheikh Qassem: Our supporters make up more than half of Lebanon's population, and all of these people are united under the banner of protecting Lebanon, its Resistance, its people, and its integrity.
Sheikh Qassem: There will be no phased handing in of our arms. [The Israelis] must first enact the agreement before we start talking about a defensive strategy.
Sheikh Qassem: Be brave in the face of foreign pressures, and we will be by your side in this stance.
Sheikh Qassem: Stripping us of our arms is like stripping us of our very soul, and this will prompt us to show them our might.
Sheikh Qassem: We will not abandon our arms, for they gave us dignity; we will not abandon our arms, for they protect us against our enemy.
Sheikh Qassem: The US efforts we are seeing are aimed at sabotaging Lebanon and constitute a call for sedition.
Sheikh Qassem: If you truly want to establish sovereignty and work for Lebanon’s interests, then stop the aggression.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States, which is meddling in Lebanon, is not trustworthy but rather poses a danger to it.
Sheikh Qassem: The United States is preventing the weapons that protect the homeland.
Sheikh Qassem: The government’s latest decision [on the disarmament of the Resistance] is non-charter-based, and if the government continues down this path, it is not faithful to Lebanon’s sovereignty.

US President Joe Biden’s $25 million fundraiser attended by former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and a pack of celebrities was shortlived after being stormed by pro-Palestine protesters who called Biden a “war criminal”.

During the 2024 presidential elections fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, one protester told Biden he had “blood on his hands” for his handling of the war on Gaza while another shouted, “You’re out of your f---ing minds.” Others were heard screaming, "Shame on you, Joe Biden."

It was reported that after being escorted by security, the event was interrupted again at least five times.

Obama had his own 2 cents to put in by telling a protester who interrupted him, saying, “You can’t just talk and not listen… that’s what the other side does.”

One individual was reported to be arrested for disorderly conduct.

The campaign featured Biden, Obama, and Clinton being interviewed by late-night host Stephen Colbert and performances by Queen Latifah, Lizzo, and Ben Platt to entertain guests.

Colbert called the trio of Democratic presidents “champion talkers” and took a jab at former President Donald Trump by saying that none of the three presidents “is here to appear in court” as Trump is facing legal damages. Biden took the chance to take aim at Trump and tell him that his ideas were “a little old and out of shape."

Obama praised Biden and said, “That’s the kind of president I want,” while Clinton told the voters of 2024, “Stay with what works.”

Obama and Clinton wasted no time by trying to explain how hard Biden's job is, calling it “a lonely seat."

$100,000 for a photo as famine looms over Gaza

The talk with Colbert ended with the three presidents wearing Biden's famous sunglasses in a campaign filled with music and laughs as the people of Gaza starve, die, and cry for help from policies Biden endorsed.

Speaking of endorsement, donors of the event were offered different tiers of access depending on how much money was put in. For instance, they could pay $100,000 for a photo with all three presidents and $250,000 for access to an on-site reception.

However, a donation of $500,000 provided donors an invite to a more exclusive gathering, but those who made smaller donations were only able to enter the event virtually for $25.

Jeffrey Katzenberg, the Biden-Harris campaign’s co-chairman, said, “This historic raise is a show of strong enthusiasm for President Biden and Vice President Harris and a testament to the unprecedented fundraising machine we’ve built."

“Unlike our opponent, every dollar we’re raising is going to reach the voters who will decide this election - communicating the president’s historic record, his vision for the future and laying plain the stakes of this election.”
