Thousands of protesters rallied in support of Palestine and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

The streets of Berlin, Dublin, and Geneva were flooded today with thousands of pro-Palestine protesters urging for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, calling on their government to stop support for the Israeli occupation. 

The protesters condemned the Israeli genocide against Gaza and called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, further intensifying the global call for peace in the region.

Berlin

Protesters chanted "Germany is funding, Israel is bombing", "Shame on you," and "Stop arming Israel" in Berlin, as nearly 2,000 people marched toward the federal parliament (Budenstag) after gathering at Potsdamer Platz.

The demonstrators held banners and signs with slogans like "Stop supporting Israel with my taxes" and “Jewish community demands an end to genocide support."

Thousands of protesters ended up in front of the UN Office in Geneva after starting their march from Place de Neuve Square maneuvering through the city center for several hours in a show of solidarity for Palestine. 

The demonstrators, who were waving Palestinian flags and holding placards, condemned the Israeli genocide against Gaza and demanded an urgent and permanent ceasefire while also chanting slogans against US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 

Dublin

Dublin witnessed a significant turnout at the Garden of Remembrance Park as the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign organized the protest.

At Kildare Street, protesters rallied carrying Palestinian and Irish flags and called for an immediate end to the Israeli offensive in Gaza. 

During the protests, the banners carried messages like  "Boycott Apartheid Israel" and "Freedom & Justice for Palestine."

Also in Ireland, the Cork Palestine Solidarity Campaign marked the 27th weekly demonstration in Cork City since October last year,iilio as hundreds of people took to the streets in support of Palestine. 

US

After New York Police arrested more than 100 pro-Palestine activists rallying on the campus at New York's Columbia University, many other university students declared solidarity with the demonstrators at the university.

Protesters at Columbia have urged for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and an end to US military aid for "Israel", as well as university divestment from companies benefiting from the Israeli war on Gaza.
