A protest was held outside the White House in Washington to oppose any potential US involvement in the Israeli war on Iran and to denounce the aggression, with a similar demonstration taking place in New York.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent, demonstrators condemned the Trump administration’s stance on the war against Iran, insisting that taxpayer money should not be used to fund wars or support "a costly new conflict."
"آلاف الجنود الأميركيين الموجودين في المنطقة ينتقدون انخراط الولايات المتحدة في الحرب على #إيران."

Protesters also argued that a war against Iran would come at a high cost for American soldiers stationed in the region, who they said are now "exposed to danger."
Our correspondent added that demonstrators criticized the Trump administration’s silence over Israeli attacks on Iran, calling for "concrete action to end all forms of US support for Israel."
He confirmed that this protest is part of a wider wave of demonstrations taking place in several American cities.
Trump on potential of strikes on Iran: 'I may do it, I may not do it'
Earlier on Wednesday, President Donald Trump said he was still undecided about joining "Israel's" strikes on Iran, claiming that Tehran now seeks negotiations at the White House but may have delayed too long.
Trump mentioned he would hold a second Situation Room meeting in as many days with his national security team, leaving the world guessing about whether he would authorize military action against Iran.
"I may do it, I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I'm going to do," Trump told reporters during the unveiling of one of two giant new flagpoles at the White House. "I can tell you this, that Iran's got a lot of trouble, and they want to negotiate."
He added, "The next week is going to be very big" in determining Iran's future.

No final decision yet
Despite speculation, Trump emphasized he had not made a final decision.
"I have ideas as to what to do, but I haven't made a final [decision]," he told reporters in the Oval Office.
"I like to make the final decision one second before it's due, because things change. Especially with war."
